What the Antigua & Barbuda Tour 2026 was
A showcase tour is not a training camp with a friendly bolted on the end. It is a run of competitive games, in a foreign country, against organised opposition, in front of people who sign players.
The squad was assembled by SportsMate360 from players selected during a camp on the island in April. It mixed senior internationals with players from Antigua & Barbuda’s youth setup. The captain of the senior national team, Sean Tomlinson, travelled with the group.
Four fixtures were locked in before anybody boarded a plane, and all four were played on schedule.

15 July, Ostróda: GKS Wikielec 1-0
The opener was the hardest possible start. Wikielec were deep into their own pre-season, sharp, and playing at home in front of a curious crowd. The only goal came from a player on trial with the Polish club, which tells you exactly how seriously the hosts took it.
One goal in ninety minutes against a settled Polish side, in the first game after a transatlantic flight, is a respectable opening statement. The stream from Ostróda pulled more than 1,400 views, the biggest audience of the tour.
18 July, Garwolin: Wilga Garwolin 3-3
The best game of the tour, and the one that showed what these players can do when they settle.
Wilga led through Damian Papiernik after thirteen minutes. Then Kylano Isaac took over. He equalised on 41 minutes, put Antigua & Barbuda ahead on 72, and made it a hat-trick on 81. Three goals away from home against a Polish league side.
Wilga needed two late goals to rescue it, through Sebastian Grzegorczyk on 87 minutes and Felipe de Brito Novais on 90. Nobody watching in Garwolin that morning was talking about the travelling side as tourists.
22 July, Biała Podlaska: MKS Podlasie 4-2
The step up in level was obvious. Podlasie play at a higher tier than the two previous opponents and won 4-2, but the tourists scored twice against the strongest side they faced.
24 July, Miętne: SportsMate360
The tour closed at our own ground in Miętne, against a SportsMate360 selection. For our players it was a chance to test themselves against a squad full of internationals without leaving home. For the visitors it was a last ninety minutes on camera before flying back.
Who travelled, and why it matters
This was not a holiday squad. Senior internationals, including the national team captain, lined up alongside players out of the youth setup who had come through the April selection camp.
That mix is deliberate. Younger players get to train and play beside men who have already represented their country, and they do it in an environment where the standard is set by the opposition rather than by their own league. Ten days like that compress a season’s worth of learning.
Goalkeeper Shahoi Dorsett was direct about what he came for when he spoke to Polish media during the trip: a contract in a good league, and Poland would do nicely. Defender Kayeem Hughes described the Wikielec game as one of the best he has played in. Lenny Hewlett, part of the coaching staff, put it more plainly still – he has done his bit, now it is their turn.
Why Poland is the right stage for a showcase tour
Poland is the most underrated route into European football, and it is the reason SportsMate360 is based here.

Coaches and agents in Poland now have names and faces attached to performances rather than a highlight reel. Kylano Isaac scored a hat-trick that is on record and on video.
That is the entire point. Talent that nobody has watched is not a career. Trials, showcase games and tours exist to move a player from unknown to seen, and being seen is the step that everything else depends on.
